Your primary mission is to build and maintain automation pipelines for APIs and to implement the tools required to support API governance standards, combining API development, middleware integration, and DevOps practices.
Work environment:

Initial one‑year contract with a strong possibility of renewal or conversion to a permanent position.
Start date as soon as possible.
Key responsibilities:

- Maintain expertise in integration protocols (REST, RESTful, MCP) and messaging patterns (pub/sub, Event Hub, Service Bus)
- Perform API testing and validation using tools such as OpenAPI, Spectral, and Swagger Hub
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows, including GitFlow and code reviews
- Ensure platform reliability and compliance while supporting containerized workloads on OpenShift and Kubernetes
Required skills and experience:
- 3 to 5 years of experience as an API and middleware developer, with strong focus on API design, development, and integration
- Advanced hands‑on expertise with Azure API Management, including policies, gateways, networking, RBAC, logging, and monitoring
- Strong knowledge of API catalogs and best practices for API contract definition (OpenAPI, Spectral, Postman)
- Solid understanding of REST / RESTful integrations and messaging systems (pub/sub, Event Hubs, Service Bus)
- Proficiency with DevOps and infrastructure tools such as Terraform, OpenShift / Kubernetes, Argo CD, and Helm
- Practical experience with RBAC, Managed Identities, Key Vault, and secure API patterns
- Scripting skills using Bash, PowerShell, or Python
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts and produce clear documentation
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
Nice‑to‑have skills:
- Experience with API governance frameworks
- Knowledge of observability tools such as Application Insights and Log Analytics
- Experience writing complex APIM policies
- Awareness of emerging protocols such as MCP
