Software Security Specialist

The main objective of the Software Security Specialist, located in Prague, Czech Republic is to help the Software and Solutions engineering product line to build and grow a solid and sustainable security foundation through the development of the security skills required by the engineering teams to fulfil their missions in compliance with the security policies.

What will be your responsibilities?

• Validate security architecture, plan changes and help create project management recommendations
• Determine products security requirements based on Business strategies, technical requirements, Standard and compliance requirements, Risk acceptance level
• Review product and solution security requirements and recommend implementation strategies
• Validate risk assessment and personal data protection evidence
• Perform risk assessment on sensitive projects
• Plan for penetration tests
• Audit vulnerability scans
• Respond to security incidents and provide thorough post-event analysis
• Provide assistance with audits, where applicable
• Coordination of project related Security topics with work package managers, project management, customer representatives and other stakeholders
• Provide guidance and leadership to SSCs involved in the project
• Report regularly to project managers, customer and engineering management on task progress, issues, risks, etc.
• Lead the workload distribution of the security activities within the security team

Who you are?

• Education in computer science, ideally in the field of cyber security
• Experience in the field of full lifecycle of software development (at least in server-side development)
• previous experience system integrations or validation (Web Service API, application server, data base)
• Prior experience with development, or infrastructure teams to build secure solutions (Network Security Layer, Infrastructure as Code)
• Knowledge of operating systems (Linux or Windows)
• Good understanding of security protocols (WS-Security, TLS), cryptography and authentication
• practical experience with cyber security tools (PEN testing, vulnerability scanning, reverse engineering tools)
