THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a Systems Engineering Manager to lead a team working on a complex missile system for a key defence client. The role involves overseeing engineering activities, ensuring high standards in quality, performance, and integration.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead Team: Manage and mentor systems engineers, promoting collaboration and high performance.
- Project Oversight: Ensure timely delivery of systems engineering tasks related to the missile system.
- Systems Integration: Oversee the integration of system components to meet customer requirements.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical objectives.
- Process Improvement: Implement best practices to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate technical risks throughout the project lifecycle.
SKILLS:
- Degree: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Systems Engineering or related field.
- Experience: Proven experience managing engineering teams and delivering complex projects, especially in the missile or defence sector.
- Skills: Strong leadership, technical expertise, and communication skills.
