THE OPPORTUNITY
The Systems Engineer will be responsible for interpreting project requirements and coordinating technical activities to ensure the successful delivery of certification documentation. The role involves managing inputs from various technical disciplines and summarising compliance through evidence based testing and evaluations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Interpret project requirements and related proving activities.
- Document and summarise compliance with evidential testing to meet certification needs.
- Review existing technical evaluations and use the data to produce comprehensive Certification Documents.
- Manage and coordinate technical inputs from various departments within the customer organisation to ensure all requirements are met and integrated.
SKILLS:
The ideal candidate will have experience with the following tools and domains:
- DOORS, experience with requirements management and traceability.
- Matlab: Proficiency in simulation and data analysis.
- Sensor Technologies: Experience with Radar and Electro-Optical (EO) sensors.
- Digital Signal Processing (DSP): Knowledge of signal processing techniques and algorithms.
- RF/Microwave and Electronics Design: Specialisation in Radar systems design and development.
- A degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience working with advanced sensor systems, including radar and electro-optical technologies.
- Experience in generating certification documentation and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Strong command of the tools and technologies mentioned above.
