THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a Software Developer.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Bug Fixing: Address and resolve a backlog of more than 100 software bugs within the Test Management System.
  • Feature Development: Develop and implement over 50 new features to enhance the functionality of the system.
  • Procedure Writing: Create and update software procedures to ensure consistency and clarity in the development process.
  • Documentation: Write and maintain comprehensive documentation, including user manuals, to support both current and future users. –
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers and testers, to ensure seamless integration and performance of the system.
  • Testing & Validation: Participate in the testing and validation phases to ensure all software modifications meet the project requirements.

SKILLS:

  • Programming Languages: Strong proficiency in C/C++ and experience with QT framework.
  • Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues.  
  • Documentation: Experience in writing technical documentation, user manuals, and procedural guidelines.
  • System Development: Familiarity with developing software systems used in flight and lab testing environments is advantageous.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly and effectively. –
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment, with a focus on achieving project milestones.
  • Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience with Test Management Systems or similar software used in testing environments.
  • Knowledge of the aerospace industry or experience in a similar technical field.
