SII Belgium is currently seeking an Embedded Software Engineer with a focus on aerospace & defence to join our team.  

Responsibilities: 

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for aerospace systems 

• Work with cross-functional teams to define and implement software requirements 

• Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure proper system integration 

• Participate in code reviews and maintain software documentation 

• Troubleshoot and debug software issues. 

Requirements:

• Experience with real-time operating systems and embedded systems 

• Strong knowledge C /C++ language, Python , and practice of one assembly language 

• Experience with micro-controllers and development without operating system 

• Experience in development of FPGA using VHDL and communication systems  

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

• Experience in digital electronic design is a real plus 

• Fluent in English and French 

• Master's degree in Computer Science with embedded specialty,  Electronical Engineering, or a related field    

• Minimum of 1/2 years of experience in embedded software development
