BI Engineer

SII Belgium is seeking a highly motivated and ambitious BI Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible of developing and implementing BI solutions to help different organizations in their business. You’ll present meaningful insights for  our various clients to optimize their decision-making process.

Key Responsibilities:  

• You understands customer needs and translate these requirements into meaningful data solutions.  

• You identify new data sources, ensuring their availability in the DataWarehouse.  

• Maintaining necessary contacts with other teams and staying updated on BI domain evolutions.  

• You implement tools and frameworks to automate report generation and identify data-quality issues. You create efficient, automated processes for large-scale data analyses, model development, validation, and implementation 

• In terms of project management, you develop work plans covering inception, technical design, development, testing, and delivery of BI solutions.  

Requirements: 

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or a related field, or equivalent work experience. 

• 3- 5 years of relevant experience  

• Strong knowledge of SQL, PowerBI and Excel. 

• Good Data modeling skills 

• Knowledge of database management 

• Good communication skills and able to adapt to different interlocutor 

• Attention to detail and organized  

• Fluent in English and Dutch or French
