The SII Group, a digital services, engineering and technology consulting company, is launching its activities in Pau with the creation of a new site in the South-West region: SII Pyrénées.

The objective? To develop its regional network and strengthen its ties with local customers. To support this development, four new employees will be recruited by March 2025 within this new structure, located in the Ampère building of the Hélioparc Technology Park.

A new office attached to the Group's regional agency

Located within the Hélioparc Technology Park, this new strategic location for the Group aims to strengthen its proximity to its customers and support their development. Its mission is to deploy the South-West agency's strong skills in systems engineering, IT and critical embedded software for local industrial players. With a workforce of over 1,000 people near Pau, this new facility can count on providing its customers with the highest added value.

Thanks to a dedicated local team, customers benefit from the Group's ability to deliver projects locally, nearshore and offshore.

Jean-Philippe Parro, BU Director at SII South-West, will be responsible for managing this new activity and ensuring its development, drawing on a local team and the strengths of the South-West agency. He states:

"The opening of this office in Pau allows us to consolidate our presence in a strategic economic area. Our priority is to strengthen our local roots in order to better understand our clients' challenges and work alongside them to meet their needs, whether local or global."

SII Pyrénées also aims to become a driver of local growth for the South-West agency: the Toulouse offices provide daily support to the Pau office.

A promising ecosystem and long-term ambitions

The aim of this facility in Pau is to be as close as possible to and support the region's major industrial players (Safran, Alstom, Total, etc.).

This new location will also provide access to an additional labour pool for recruiting new talent and developing projects in conjunction with the Toulouse agency.

Finally, as a Best Workplace-certified company, SII will offer its existing employees the opportunity to move to Pau to participate in the development of this new team.

‘By choosing Pau, we are seeking to expand our recruitment capacity in a strategic region while preparing for the future with large-scale projects,’ explains Philippe Thiels, Director of the SII South-West agency. ‘This decision will enable the Toulouse agency, with its 1,000 employees and all of SII's expertise, to support the Pau team in ensuring its development.’

Located in the Ampère building of the Hélioparc* technology park, this location offers an ideal setting for attracting talent and developing innovative projects related to SII's various business lines.    SII is thus ready to work with the entire Pau ecosystem. Following several successful similar projects, this initiative demonstrates the Group's commitment to establishing a long-term presence in strategic regions, always in line with the needs of its customers.
