Plant Manufacturing Engineer
Responsibilities
- Manage non-conformities and work order creation on behalf of Plants and suppliers to support Aircraft production
- Provide Manufacturing Engineering support to production, quality, and logistics to support non-serialized flow
- Train new X-plant manufacturing engineers across multiple aircraft sections
- Manage X-plant workflow for future HOV aircraft arriving at final assembly line
- Run quality and timely work instructions to Plant Operation.
- Run the plan established with the nominated MFT (Production, engineering, quality, method, etc.)
- Run and secure an orderly & on-time flow of material, parts and tools needed for Plant activities
- Manage actively the transfer of knowledge by succession planning, preparation and training
- Identifies critical points, report to management to avoid any impact on the Flowline performance.
- Work from Europe Plant Partners, Non-Conformities and snag sheets raised during standard FAL activities, Customer findings recorded in Quality Log Book, and Technical Log Book write ups during Flight Line and Delivery Phases.
Qualifications
- US Citizen or Green Card Holder Only
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or similar and/or combination of education and experience.
- +2 years experiences in Aviation including Manufacturing Engineering + Operations
- Experience in working with internal & external partners, suppliers and plants is mandatory
- Knowledge of Aeronautique production processes and methods
