Cloud DevOps Engineer

This role will involve setting up cloud environments, developing CI/CD pipelines, and supporting cloud-based solutions while adhering to internal security and governance standards.

Your responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation and setup of cloud technologies, working in collaboration with technical leaders from various engineering teams
  • Develop and set up automation tools (CI/CD pipelines) to support the development, integration, and deployment of cloud solutions.
  • Write guidelines, installation guides, documentation, and training materials to ensure engineering teams are autonomous on the adopted technologies.
  • Train engineering teams on cloud-based technologies and CI/CD tools to support cloud transformation initiatives, making them autonomous in these areas.
  • Provide guidance and expertise during architecture definition, including cloud security audits, architecture reviews, and participation in pre-sales activities when required.
  • Liaise with other cloud engineers and stakeholders across IBS product lines, DIS business lines, and corporate teams (including CCoE/CTO) to align cloud-based solutions and practices.

 

What we expect from you:

  • 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on server-side development.
  • 3+ years of experience deploying and maintaining highly available solutions on AWS.
  • 2+ years of experience in system integration and deployment of cloud-based technologies (IaaS, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenStack, monitoring systems, authentication systems).
  • Experience writing infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform.
  • Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases (S3, NAS), either as a designer or administrator.
  • Experience with large-scale, highly available, and distributed systems.
  • Good knowledge of networking protocols (SOAP/REST, HTTP, TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, WAF).
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code languages, scripting, and continuous automation principles (CI/CD).
  • Good knowledge of operating systems (Windows/Linux) and
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, C/C++, C#, Python, JavaScript, Go).
  • AWS SAA or AWS SAP certification is a plus
